Shutter Murals
Campari Bottles

Making some roller shutters look a bit brighter for the Italian Club Bakery. Doing straight lines on this surface was a nightmare!
This was completed in July 2018, the first mural Paul did for the Italian Club chain.

Tiffany Accrington Mural

One of the world’s finest collections of classic Tiffany art glass is in Accrington, Lancashire.
Accrington lad, Joseph Briggs, sailed off to America in 1891 to seek his fortune, joined Tiffany Studios where he became Tiffany’s right-hand man and ultimately the head of the company. He was also one of the firm’s finest craftsmen, responsible for some of its greatest works.
Briggs was forced to wind up the company when art nouveau went out of fashion in the 1930s. But he also sent some the finest examples of Tiffany glass back to Accrington, where today it is finely displayed at the town’s handsome Howarth Art Gallery
Paul painted this mural on (those very tricky) roller shutters, near the town hall in Accrington this week.

Painted in June 2020
Disco Ball Mural

Disco time! Painted for Star salon in Aigburth. Doing rows of curving mirrors on horizontal shutters is a killer! Painted in September 2018.
